Tim Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) Fakultas Farmasi Unhas, yang dalam hal ini diwakili oleh para dosen Laboratorium Farmakognosi dan Fitokimia, mendapat sambutan hangat dari para guru dan siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Muhammadiyah Ahmad Dahlan Pinrang. SMK ini mengelola beberapa jurusan, salah satunya adalah Farmasi.
Sekitar 8 dosen ditambah beberap mahasiswa menjadi bagian dari tim yang diketuai oleh Subehan, Ph.D., Apt. ini. Beberapa dosen yang ikut dalam rombongan adalah Rosany Tayeb, Andi Arjuna dan Ismail. Dana yang dianggarkan sebesar dua puluh juta rupiah. Dana ini berasal dari skim Bantuan Operasional Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (BOPTN).
Adapun topik kegiatan yang diangkat adalah “Penyuluhan dan Pelatihan Pengolahan Bahan Baku Obat Tradisional bagi Siswa SMK Muhammadiyah Ahmad Dahlan”. Sebagaimana diketahui bahwa belakangan ini pemerintah sedang berupaya untuk menggenjot produksi bahan baku obat agar kebutuhan ini tidak selalu bergantung pada negara-negara lainnya. Inilah yang menjadi salah satu semangat yang diusung, sehingga judul kegiatan ini diangkat.
Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 1 Oktober 2016. Acara berlangsung lancar. Banyaknya pertanyaan yang diajukan oleh para peserta menjadi indikator antusiasme dari pada audiens baik guru maupun siswa SMK Muhammadiyah Ahmad Dahlan Pinrang.

Team of Community Service Program (PKM) of Faculty of Pharmacy Hasanuddin University which was represented by lecturers from laboratory of Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry, got enthusiastic welcome from teachers and students of Vocational High School (SMK) Muhammadiyah Ahmad Dahlan Pinrang. This school manages several departments. One of them is Pharmacy
Eight lecturers and some students were in action in this team led by Subehan, Ph.D., Apt. Some lecturers who were in this visit were Rosany Tayeb, Andi Arjuna and Ismail. To assist this program, twenty million rupiah was allocated. This fund was supported by Operational Assistance of Public Higher Education (BOPTN).
The topic brought in this event entitled “Counselling and Training of Preparation of Raw Materials of Traditional Medicine for Students of SMK Muhammadiyah Ahmad Dahlan Pinrang”. As we already know that recently the government is pushing to increase production of raw materials to be used in producing traditional medicines. This effort is conducted to make our nation independent from other nations in terms of preparing raw materials. This was the reason so that the topic of this program was selected.
This visit was performed on October 1, 2016. The event took place smoothly. There were a lot of questions generated by audiences. This was a simple indicator that this event increased enthusiasm from all the audinces either teachers or students of SMK Muhammadiyah Ahmad Dahlan Pinrang.
