General Information
Andi Dian Permana is a professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Hasanuddin University.
His scholarly work centers on pharmaceutics and pharmaceutical dosage form technology, with additional research interests in pharmaceutical technology, transdermal and intradermal delivery system, microneedles, nanotechnology, and biopharmaceutics.
He is the leader of the Transdermal and Transmucosal Drug Delivery Systems Research Group, guiding collaborative research on microneedles, nanomedicine, smart materials, and targeted transdermal and transmucosal drug-delivery technologies.
He also contributes to the Marine Nutraceutical and Cosmeceutical Research Group as a lecturer and research-team member, supporting work on marine-derived bioactive compounds and their development into nutraceutical and cosmeceutical products.
Prof Permana is also an active member of Natural Product Drug Discovery Research Group (NATURE-DRUG), supporting work on natural bioactive compounds, therapeutic discovery, molecular mechanisms, and in vivo pharmacological evaluation.
